e. Third-Party Websites. Users may find advertising or other content on the HTWA Website that links to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Website. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites that have a link to our Website, is subject to that website's own terms and policies. The Website may incorporate content, including feed scripts embedded in the Website’s code, as well as visible content (i.e., videos), provided by third parties. In some cases, those third parties may collect data about how you interact with their content.
The HTWA may use “cookies” to track the use of its Website and to facilitate and enhance each User’s experience on the Website. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by the User’s browser on the User’s computer’s hard drive. The HTWA Website may use both cookies that we implement and cookies implemented by the HTWA’s suppliers and other third parties. HTWA cookies enable us to facilitate access to different aspects of the Website. For example, by showing when and how you and others visit the Website, cookies help the HTWA see which pages of the Website are popular and which are not. Cookies can also help us to improve User enjoyment of the HTWA Website, for example, by remembering the User’s address or other personal information when you request information or services on the Website. The HTWA honors do not track signals and does not track, plant cookies or use advertising when a Do Not Track (“DNT”) browser mechanism is in place.
5. Third-Party Advertising Networks and Behavioral Advertising.
The HTWA contracts with service providers to serve advertisements on the HTWA’s behalf across the Internet and sometimes on this Website. The Website uses Google AdWords and Google Display Network, online advertising services provided by Google, and Facebook Tracking Pixel, an online advertising service provided by Facebook. They will collect anonymous information about each User’s visits to the HTWA Website and User interaction with the HTWA’s products and services. They may also use information about User visits to this and other websites to target advertisements for goods and services. These targeted advertisements may appear on the HTWA Website or on other sites that you visit. The anonymous information is collected using cookies, pixel tags, web beacons and other industry standard technology used by most major websites. Users can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or permanently using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
