MILWAUKEE INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) ignites curious minds through art, design and service and is dedicated to building a regional culture of creativity and innovation through its nationally recognized Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs and its community education and gallery programs for youth, adults and teachers. The non-profit college’s two main galleries—the Frederick Layton Gallery and Brooks Stevens Gallery of Industrial Design—feature national and international exhibitions. Additional galleries throughout the building feature student and alumni work. Admission to the galleries is free; public welcome.
