Art Start uses the creative process to nurture the voices, hearts, and minds of youth from communities that have been under-resourced.

Art Start’s offers year-round programming for young creatives ages 14-24 to develop artistic excellence, social-emotional learning skills, and creative career readiness. To meet youth where they are, Art Start's offers a myriad of access points, activities, and levels of commitment: paid residencies/internships, special industry projects, wellness resources, career/academic counseling, and more through our Creative Connections program.
